For City Chase 2008 hopefuls, here is an overview of the day that we provide to participants before the event...

Where it all starts:
Location: Potter''s Fields Park, Tooley Street, london SE1 2NE [next to City Hall, overlooking Tower Bridge]
Nearest Tube/Train line: London Bridge
Time:
08:30 Check in opens – you must check in to receive your race t-shirt and number
09:30 Opening presentation commences [all chasers must be checked in by this time]
09:50 Warm up
10:00 Your adventure begins
16:00 ChasePoints close and all chasers must return to Potters Fields Park
16:30 Drinks and prize ceremony at the Horniman @ Hays Pub [Southbank]
What to wear:
- Running shoes
- Shorts/sports trousers
- Wet weather gear (in case it rains)
- Small backpack for the day
Nb You will receive your event t-shirt at check in and it MUST be wor
What to bring:
- Pen/paper
- Mobile phone
- Waterproofs/sun cream (fingers crossed for the latter!)
- Oyster card/travel card (zones 1 and 2) – if you have one it will come in handy
- A sense of humour
- A-Z, if you don’t have ''The Knowledge''
- snacks to keep you going...
Top tips:
- City Chase is a physical challenge!
- You will get wet…
- Make sure friends and family are ready to take calls to help with your adventure
- Get ready to run, bus, train and tube - if one is down, you’ll need to rely on the other
- All Chasers must be back at the finish by 16:00 – regardless of how you have faired
